Whac-A-Word
Watches the game, finds the correct answer, and selects it for you.
Mods for Roxem games. One bookmark. Nothing to install.
Ready to use today.
Watches the game, finds the correct answer, and selects it for you.
Three more mods are in the works.
Most likely out next week.
Patch notesPlanned to be the second one out.
Patch notesNo release date. This one is the hardest.
Patch notesWhat I’m working on right now, and what to expect.
Whac-A-Word is the first mod, and right now it’s the only one that works. It watches the game, finds the correct answer, and selects it for you. You can turn monitoring and auto-select on or off whenever you want.
This update gives the panel a new look to match this site, with blue and green controls and a cleaner layout. The Log tab keeps a list of every answer it selected, and pressing Y hides the whole menu.
Quiz Ninja is the mod I’m working on first, and it’s the one most likely to come out in the next week. That’s my best guess, not a promise.
If something isn’t working the way I want it to, I’ll take a few extra days instead of releasing something broken. When it’s ready it will move up to Finished mods and install the same way as Whac-A-Word: one bookmark, nothing else.
Vocab Harvest may come out second, once Quiz Ninja is done. I don’t have a date for it yet, and the order could change if one turns out to be easier or harder than I expect.
I’ll update these notes as soon as I know more, so check back here.
Sentence Snake is the hardest one to figure out. The game is built around a sequence, or a puzzle, and a mod has to make sense of that before it can help with anything.
I’m still working out whether that can be done reliably. It will take a lot longer than the others, and because of the way the game works, it may never come out. I’d rather tell you that now than promise something I can’t deliver.
A bookmarklet is a bookmark that runs code instead of opening a page. You make a bookmark once, then put the mod’s code where the link goes.
Nothing happens? The pasted code must begin with javascript:. Some browsers remove that part when you paste, so type it back at the very start. Click the bookmark again any time to restart the mod.
